About Mr. Ruggiero

Michael Ruggiero, SFO, earned a Master of Arts degree in Theology and Christian Ministry (Summa Cum Laude level) from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2008, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University in 2000.

Mr Ruggiero possesses years of public speaking/teaching experience and recently served as (an elected) Minister in the Secular Franciscan Order from 2006-2009. He has authored numerous articles on a variety of theological subjects and is currently editor of Response, the theological digest of the Catholic Evangelization Society as well as author of  "This Week's Gospel Message," a popular weekly teaching on Sunday's Scriptural readings.

Mr. Ruggiero is also the recent author of "St. Francis of Assisi, His Spiritual Gift and Steps to Holiness," a book which details the charism of St. Francis and his movement to blessedness.  

About the Society

The Catholic Evangelization Society was founded by Michael Ruggiero, SFO, M.A., in 2007, in response to the Church's call for inspired, professional evangelization. The society's mission is to completely proclaim the faith: to announce, teach and defend the revealed truths of the faith utilizing the skills of professionally trained theological instructors - those who have earned at least a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Universities (or institutions) whose faculty take an oath of fidelity to the sacred Magisterium.

The Society offers a variety of products and services to help proclaim the faith and better educate the laity, from unique publications to one-on-one professional biblical studies courses and speaking services.
