Today's Thought(s):
"The heart of God is mercy. No sin is so great or so terrible that it can't be forgiven by God (provided one seeks Jesus' mercy and asks to be forgiven)."

"Christ Handing the Keys (of the Kingdom) to Saint Peter," by Pietro Perugino
Interested in Becoming A Member of the One, True Roman Catholic Church?
TODAY is the day of salvation! TODAY, become spiritually justified (acceptable) before God (who loves you) and take steps to enter His one, true Roman Catholic Church!
Follow these important STEPS:
I. Perceive God Correctly and Profess Faith in Him:
Recite the following Nicene Creed, this brief statement of essential Catholic Beliefs (which every Catholic recites every Sunday at Mass in an effort to reaffirm his/her faith) and state verbally, Dear Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I believe these truths and wish to become a member of your one, true Church! (Remember, God wants you to live in communion with Him.)
"I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages; God of God, light of light, true God of true God; begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father (of the same substance and essence), by whom all things were made. Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was MADE MAN. He was crucified also for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried. And the third day He arose again, according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven. He sitteth at the right hand of the Father and He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Ghost (Spirit), the Lord and giver of life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, Who, together with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified. Who spoke by the prophets. And one holy Catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. And I expect the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen."
II. Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior - State aloud - I accept you, Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah) as my Lord and Savior and your sacrificial death as full and total payment for my sin debt. Recall that our savior died for love of you, to give you the opportunity to possess spiritual union with Him (and the family of God).
III. Acknowledge Your Sins, Be Sorry For them, ask and hope for forgiveness and resolve to do your best NOT to willfully sin, especially not to practice Deadly or Mortal Sin! State aloud - I ask forgiveness in Jesus' name, oh heavenly Father, for all of my sins. Then ask for the gift of the indwelling of the Holy Trinity: state aloud - I ask, Father, in Jesus' name for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
* Obtain a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and begin reading it (especially the third part): willfully pledge to live out (to be obedient to and practice) the revealed faith and moral truths of the Roman Catholic faith. Ask Jesus for the grace to be committed to keep the moral demands of the faith (see Romans 6:16-18). Our savior will give you the spiritual help you need to maintain the state of grace and grow in virtue.
IV. Profess Belief in the One, True Roman Catholic Church
Pray this Prayer: "Dear Jesus, my savior, I truly believe you established your one true Church on Peter and I acknowledge it as the one, true universal Christian Church. I pledge to respect and be obedient to the Holy Father of Rome and to the teachings of the Magisterium (the Holy Father, Benedict XVI, and all of the Bishops in communion with him)."
V. Dedicate yourself to formal, daily prayer! We recommend you learn how to pray the Rosary! Click on our "Great Prayers" site page to immediately begin praying some great prayers, especially the Rosary! When you pray, you obtain grace - God's gifts, help and assistance! Hence, you need to pray every day!
VI. Pray to the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name, to guide you to a devout local parish. When you find one, contact the Pastor and set up a time to make a good, general confession and tell him you would like to become a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
